Jasper (breeder no longer in business)

Both of these cats are pure bred Maine Coons, however they each represent a slightly different ascetic. Vinchester is very typical of the European Standard of Maine Coons, where as Jasper is very typical of the American style.

American Style of Maine Coon Generally has:

  • More muted facial features

  • Smaller Ear tufts

  • More domestic cat “looking” in appearance

Despite these differences they all share common features as well. All Maine Coons should have a long bushy tail, long athletic body and thick coat. Maine Coons of both styles often reach 25 - 30 lbs for males and 15-20 lbs for females.

At Omega Maine Coons we breed to the European Style we love a wild looking super affectionate cat and that is why we import all of our Kings and Queens from Europe.
